Traditionally yidaki / didgeridoo playing is always accompanied with clap sticks to keep the rhythm and timing of the songs. These clap sticks are made similar to the more traditional Arnhem land style clap stick shape with rounded ends to improve the tone of the clap sticks and for ease of holding. one is larger than the other in this traditional style. These clap sticks are made from New Guinea Rosewood which provides a nice tone. they are finished with a natural wood oil. custom clap sticks of native Australian eucalyptus timber can be made upon order.
